Dr. Henry Oh Sets New World Record

This year we are proud to announce our first recipient, Dr. Henry Oh, for recognition as the “Man of the Year.” Our selection of Dr. Oh has been based on new exemplary accomplishments after receiving the “U.S. Professor of the Year in Health Sciences Award” in 2020.

He has successfully attempted a World Record as “The Professor Who Earned the Highest Number of Post-Nominal Credentials.” The Record Holders Republic, the Official Registry of World Records in U.K. and in U.S.A. has recognized Dr. Oh for earning forty-one (41) professional titles which include thirty-three board credentials, six academic degrees and two honorary doctorates.

Dr. Oh’s credentials are mostly in the clinical sciences. Professional board credentials require passing a certification examination to practice one’s profession, and/or meeting the criteria for competencies, work experience, scholarly works, leadership and academic degrees. Among the forty-one (41) credentials that he has earned include: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Medical Technologist (MT), Certified Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) from the U.S. He is a Chartered Biologist (CBiol) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) in U.K. with a Post-Doctorate of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Management (PDCILM) in Europe.

Dr. David Adamovich, a Guinness World Record Holder, is the assessor, reviewer and judge of the world record attempt of Dr. Henry Oh. Dr. Adamovich is a multi-world record holder who is known as “The Great Throwdini.” He earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Applied Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York. He served as a professor for 18 years and later became the vice president of EMS Consultants, an Emergency Medicine Management group.

Dr. Gabriel Lopes, president of Unilogos University in Brazil, invited Dr. Henry Oh to deliver the opening and welcoming address to the First International Colloquium in Education and Immersive Technologies held in Brazil on May 3, 2021. His speech was translated to Portuguese. Dr. Oh has been bestowed with an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration (Hon. DBA) by Unilogos University.

Dr. Joshua Bornhorst, president of the Association of Clinical Scientists (ACS), has recently appointed Dr. Oh as the new editor of Clinical Trumpet, the official newsletter publication of ACS.

Dr. Oh is currently the Department Chair and Clinical Professor of Health Occupations at Idaho State University. In 2018, he received an honorary doctorate degree in humanities (D.Hum) from the International Institute of Leaders. He was also recognized as an Outstanding Achiever for Medicine and Allied Sciences in 2017 by the Asia Pacific Excellence Awards. In 2013, he received the Master Teacher of Honor from Kappa Delta Pi International Society in Education. He is a Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology in U.K. and a Fellow of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology.
