Jang Won-young’s couch steals spotlight in luxury Seoul home worth $10 million

Jang Won-young of K-pop girl group IVE is once again drawing attention for her “young and rich” lifestyle after revealing part of her luxury Seoul home on social media — including a designer couch estimated to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. On Thursday, Jang uploaded photos showing herself relaxing at home, giving fans a rare glimpse inside her residence in Hannam-dong, one of Seoul’s most expensive neighborhoods favored by celebrities and business elites. In the photos, the singer is seen lying comfortably on a large red modular couch placed at the center of the living room. Online users quickly identified the furniture as a design by famed French designer Pierre Paulin. According to online estimates, each module of the sofa is priced between $5,400 and $8,200. Based on the number of connected sections visible in the photos, some fans estimated the full piece could be worth more than 200 million won ($145,000).
