LOVE CRIME, a film inspired by Jodi Arias, releases trailer

Santa Clarita, CA, 18th Nov 2021, ZEXPRWIRE, Cineridge and Cinema Epoch have just released the poster and trailer for LOVE CRIME, a new true crime inspired film loosely based on Jodi Arias.

Jodi Arias murdered her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in 2008. Travis was stabbed 28 times and shot in the head. The case received worldwide coverage, partly due to the beauty of the accused killer, and because of the circumstances surrounding her defense. Arias’ case ranks up with the likes of Amanda Knox, Casey Anthony and Scott Peterson. Earlier this year Discovery+ released a controversial documentary appearing to put part of the blame on Travis himself, partially supporting Arias’ bizarre self defense claims. LOVE CRIME possibly takes a similar approach though is being kept vague for now. The film stars Nicole D’Angelo (DARLING NIKKI) as Jodi and was also directed by D’Angelo, with filmmaker Shane Ryan (director of the true crime inspired MY NAME IS ‘A’ BY ANONYMOUS – also about a female killer) portraying Travis and producing the picture, along with Gregory Hatanaka (BLUE DREAM, UNTIL THE NIGHT). The film also stars Lisa London (Clint Eastwood’s SUDDEN IMPACT) and Sam Dobbins (NBC’s SIBERIA).

LOVE CRIME is set for release this January. The trailer can be viewed here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRUHHCcquDI
