EU is probably planning the charging cable revolution

iPhone buyers can only use different charging cables for their devices than Android users. The EU wants to change this – and could soon present a reform for it. 
According to an insider, the EU Commission wants to present a draft for uniform charging cables for mobile devices in September. The rule is currently being worked out, a person familiar with the process said on Thursday….
